Headline/Pull Quote are the same thing on this one which puts forward the ideology that what she says is important. Use of different sized letters are symbolic of quirkiness. This quirkiness could also put forward the ideology that people should be unique. The use of costume in this double page spread is subversive when compared to the stereotypical costume of a female pop star as she is not being sexualised. The main image for this magazine was taken on a white background to put emphasis on the artist herself. This double page spread is fairly convention with the use of the main image on one page with the text being on the other. The producer has chosen to use a direct mode of address and make the artist look directly at the camera to relate to the audience and give a sense of inclusivity. The use of a mid shot in this case is used to emphasis the subversive costume choice to push forward the ideology of being different. The use of Lily Allen's makeup in this double page spread anchors the audience into wanting to read more. If a teenage girl reads this magazine for example then they might want to know how to use makeup to look more stereotypically attractive like the artist so they will read more. The use of a 3 colour colour palette puts further emphasis on the artist as she is wearing bright clothes compared to the rest of the double page spread.

Attitude Online - Wednesday 13th March

Attitude online's primary purpose is to promote the magazine. It has a dedicated readership which may be influenced by the online version of the magazine. Camp - A deliberately tongue in cheek attitude to the world which reinforces a lot of gay stereotypes. Drag shows are very camp to appeal to a gay audience Diva is a gay magazine that is also aimed at women but it is less popular than Attitude. Attitude online is a hyper-sexualised representation of men - most images of these men are topless and often in provocative poses which is surprising in accordance to societal hegemonic norms. An article is critical of lack of representation of different body types which isn't reinforced very well by the singular muscular representation of men which suggests that these images are only being used to make money as they know it plays on the potential desires of homosexual men. Articles are generally focused on grooming, fashion, celebrities and their appearance which suggest
