Americans are represented as being hooligans.

Trying to make it relatable for the newspaper's target audience.

A lot of use of red white and blue like the American flag which has patriarchal connotations

'America's Brexit' may have different connotations depending on the political views of the reader.

Uses a lot of words that may connote negativity suggesting that this paper is more left wing than right wing.
'The New World' gives a sense of accomplishment as well as the word "Glore" that is symbolic of Trump's victory.

Wrap around newspaper is sed to emphasise how important this shock outcome is.

This paper is clearly more right wing.

The image of the statue of liberty with her hands over her face is symbolic of devastation and has connotations of defeat. It also seems like a weeping angel which would be something the UK public would recognise.

The Daily Mirror has very left wing beliefs but is also right wing due to the benefits that may come if there is a right wing prime minister in the UK.

The Times is clearly very right wing and has the belief that it is 'every man for themselves'.

All of these newspapers represent America differently. The First one shows that America is a happy, wealthy place because of the people living there. However, it is a complete contrast to the third paper which is actually the same paper. The lack of ethnicity in the images in the newspaper may have links to white supremacy however. The second one shows a very 'normal' picture of Donald Trump and Mike Pence clapping which is symbolic of victory and also connote freedom. The third newspaper represents America as a wasteland due to the results of the most recent election.

Attitude Online - Wednesday 13th March

Attitude online's primary purpose is to promote the magazine. It has a dedicated readership which may be influenced by the online version of the magazine. Camp - A deliberately tongue in cheek attitude to the world which reinforces a lot of gay stereotypes. Drag shows are very camp to appeal to a gay audience Diva is a gay magazine that is also aimed at women but it is less popular than Attitude. Attitude online is a hyper-sexualised representation of men - most images of these men are topless and often in provocative poses which is surprising in accordance to societal hegemonic norms.
